Welcome to Edison Elementary School!

It is with a great sense of enthusiasm that the faculty, staff and administration welcome you and your child to Edison Elementary School for the 2011-2012 school year! We believe that our students are in store for a wonderful year of excitement, opportunities and growth. We are thrilled to have each one of you as part of our EDISON FAMILY.

Academic achievement by all of our students is our number one priority. We have made several significant changes in our approach to delivering instruction and how to prepare for instruction on a routine basis. Everyone at Edison Elementary believes that all students can achieve. We are commited to the ideal that all members of our school community learn and grow every day and that we are never finished learning!

We need your help! You, as the parent, play a pivotal role in our partnership to educate your child. We need you to insist that your child attend school every day, that they do their homework and study, and that they give their absolute best effort every day. We need for you to ask us questions and to be involved in our school. You and your child are on the same educational journey. Be an active participant along the ride so that the journey is as wonderful as we all hope it will be for your child.
